Actually, the ticket received in elections is not a ticket but a form. This form is called Form B. In Form B, any party writes the name of the candidate it nominates in the elections and the name and address of an alternative candidate. Below this form, there is the signature of the party president, this is called the party ticket. Apart from this, there is also Form A along with Form B, in which the National President of the party authorizes the State President to nominate the candidate. Let us tell you that along with Form B, commonly called ticket, Form A also has to be submitted to the Returning Officer while filing nomination. Both the forms have to be submitted together by the last date of filing nomination.

After this, the seal of the party is placed below the signature of the state president. Parties declare candidates in the elections but send Form B and A along with observers a day or two before the nomination.
Lok Sabha Elections
General elections for the 18th Lok Sabha are going to be held in the coming month. However, the Election Commission has not announced its dates yet. But according to estimates, elections are certain to be held in the month of April or May. Let us tell you that there are a total of 545 seats in the Lok Sabha. According to Article 84 (B) of the Indian Constitution, to contest Lok Sabha elections, the age of the candidate should be 25 years. After this, first of all you have to go to the Returning Officer and fill the nomination form and submit it.
